SPRAYED-ON TRUCK BED LINERS
We do all of our own work ON SITE!
The material is pumped out of 55 gallon drums into a proportioner machine that heats it to about 170 degrees and pressurizes it to about 2200 PSI. The material is pumped through heated hose assemblies and mixes it at the tip of the triggered gun. Material is not mixed until the trigger on the gun is pulled and mixing stops after the trigger is released. This allows for stops and starts at any rate during the process (like when moving around the truck or spraying a separate assembly in the spray area). When the trigger is released, not only does material mixing and flow stop, but the gun "self cleans" with pressurized air. When the material is sprayed onto the prepared surface, it is dry to the touch in about 5 seconds. This allows for fast and efficient jobs usually complete and back to the customer in just a few hours.
The result is a factory installed appearance, with a thick coat from 1/8" to 1/4" thick in all areas and a tight uniform texture. Just what truck owners want. A smart, easy to clean, durable bed liner. |
